① The scale of typical conventional charging stations
According to the data of conventional charging for electric vehicles, a charging station is generally configured with 20 to 40 electric vehicles. This configuration is designed to fully utilize the valley electricity for charging at night, but the disadvantage is that the utilization rate of charging equipment is low. Considering charging during peak hours, a charging station can be equipped with 60-80 electric vehicles, but the disadvantage is that charging costs increase and peak load increases.
② Typical configuration of power matching for charging stations (assuming that the charging cabinet has harmonic and other processing functions)
Plan A:
Design a distribution station with 2 incoming 10KV cables (equipped with 3 * 70mm cables), 2 500KVA transformers, and 24 outgoing 380V cables. Two of them are dedicated fast charging output lines (equipped with 4 * 120mm cables, 50M long, 4 circuits), two are mechanical charging or backup output lines, and the rest are conventional charging output lines (equipped with 4 * 70mm cables, 50M long, 20 circuits)
Plan B:
Design 2 10kV cable lines (equipped with 3 * 70mm cables), set up 2 500KVA user box transformers, each box transformer is equipped with 4 380V output lines (equipped with 4 * 240mm cables, 20M long, 8 circuits), and each output line is equipped with a 4-circuit cable branch box to supply power to the charging cabinet (equipped with 4 * 70mm cables, 50M long, 24 circuits).
