A pipeline is a device used to transport gases, liquids, or fluids with solid particles by connecting pipes, pipe fittings, valves, and other components. Usually, after being pressurized by blowers, compressors, pumps, and boilers, fluids flow from high pressure to low pressure in pipelines. They can also be transported by the pressure or gravity of the fluid itself. Pipelines have a wide range of applications, mainly used in water supply, drainage, heating, gas supply, long-distance transportation of oil and natural gas, agricultural irrigation, hydraulic engineering, and various industrial installations.
